At this point, the power supply to the air fryer is switched on, and components such as heating elements and fans begin to work, cooking the food. In some high-end air fryers, the E43 microswitch is also used to control the lifting of the inner barrel. When the inner bucket is raised (such as when removing the food basket), the CAM at the bottom of the inner bucket makes contact with the contact of the E43 microswitch, triggering the switch to change state and cut off the power supply. This ensures that no accidental start or continuation of heating occurs when the inner drum is moved, thus protecting the safety of ingredients and users. When cooking is complete or the user needs to remove the food basket, simply pull the food basket out of the cavity. With the removal of the food basket, the triggering mechanism of the E43 microswitch is no longer under pressure, the push rod will return to the initial position under the action of the spring, the contact and the terminal are separated, and the circuit is disconnected. At this point, the air fryer stops working and goes into standby.
